Pour son entrée dans sa quatrième saison depuis l’ouverture du musée en mars 2022, le musée GRATALOUP, premier centre d’art contemporain de la vallée de Chevreuse, présente le travail de l’artiste engagé et insoumis Ladislas Kijno, figure majeure du mouvement de la peinture informelle du XXe siècle. Partenaire privilégié du musée GRATALOUP, le Château de Vascœuil, -Centre d’Art et d’Histoire , -par ailleurs Maison des Illustres avec le musée Jules Michelet (1798-1874)-, nous apporte un soutien privilégié nous permettant de proposer au public une sélection d’artistes, tous inscrits dans l’histoire de l’Art Moderne et Contemporain. Les œuvres de Ladislas Kijno exposées aujourd’hui font partie de la collection privée des propriétaires du Château. Dans le jardin, le musée GRATALOUP présente le travail de Laurette Succar, artiste pluridisciplinaire, poétesse, scénographe, plasticienne et éditrice de livres d’artiste, française, née à Beyrouth en 1970. Laurette vit à Paris depuis 1976. Entre résistance et résilience, cette double exposition célèbre la peinture et la poésie, en tant qu’outils de dénonciation de la guerre, du racisme et des injustices, tout en honorant les héros, qui luttent pour un monde meilleur.

The Venice Biennial Contemporary Art Exhibition "Personal Structures", organised by the European Cultural Centre (ECC), will welcome visitors from the 20th of April until the 24th of November, 2024 in the historical venues of Palazzo Bembo, Palazzo Mora and Marinaressa Gardens in Venice. | Considering the complex dynamics of our global society, "Beyond Boundaries" was chosen as the guiding title of the seventh edition of the group show. Exhibitors will explore their identities looking at their cultural backgrounds as well as through the lens of gender. Central stage will be given to research and education and to the current discourse on climate change and sustainability. Spirituality, rituals and afterlife will be highlighted, and the dialogue on nature and non-human beings will be one of the focuses in the exhibition. | Through paintings, sculptures, installations, and performances, exhibiting artists will navigate the intricate current global landscape, offering insights that extend beyond the conventional and open pathways to new conversations. The exhibition will become a testament of the richness that arises when diverse voices converge.
